HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No. 16777 of 2010 Order:

This Writ Petition was filed for the following relief. "To issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not scrutinizing the petitioner's application pursuant to the internet notification purporting to communicate the schedule as 05.07.2010 by the scrutiny committee as improper, illegal and consequently direct the respondents to grant permission by scrutinizing the petitioner's application if it is according to AICTE norms for the year 2010-11."

2. This Court, while admitting the Writ Petition on 14.07.2010, passed the following order.

"It is stated that a committee has been constituted to consider the grievances of those similarly situated to the petitioner with regard to processing of their applications for establishment of MBA Colleges.

There shall be a direction to the All India Council for technical education to forthwith refer the case of the petitioner also to such committee and upon immediate consideration thereof, the decision of such committee shall be communicated to the petitioner before 18.07.2010."

3. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in the Writ Petition and the Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as inflructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.

4. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. ________________________ A.
