ORDER:

Heard.

2. Petitioner complains that though FIR Nos.1165 of 2014 and 276 of 2013 are registered with respondent No.2 police station, investigation has not been carried out.

3. Instructions received by the learned Government Pleader show that both the said crimes are under investigation and the investigating officer has already examined five witnesses and recorded their statements including that of the complainant. It is stated that notice was already issued to the petitioner-complainant to produce the material documents and relevant witnesses and if petitioner cooperates, respondent No.2 will complete the investigation expeditiously and file appropriate report. It is also stated that the issue as to jurisdiction also arises for which appropriate permission from higher authorities is awaited and as per the orders of the superior officers, further course of action will be taken. It is further stated that appropriate necessary steps for early completion of investigation will be taken and necessary report will be filed before the competent criminal court under Section 173 Cr.P.C.

4. Since respondent No.2 has already taken appropriate steps, petitioner is also directed to cooperate with the investigating officer to enable the investigating officer to complete the investigation expeditiously and file appropriate report before the concerned court Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
