When the matter is taken up, on instructions, the learned Government Pleader submits that on 08.02.2018, the subject vehicle was handed over to the Excise Department and that it is open to the petitioner herein to make an appropriate application before the Deputy Commissioner of Prohibition & Excise for the redressal of his grievance.

Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition stands disposed of, keeping it open to the petitioner herein to make an appropriate application before the Deputy Commissioner of Prohibition & Excise as per law.

As a sequel there to, miscellaneous application, pending if any, shall stand closed.
