Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. With the consent of both the parties, the main writ petition is heard and disposed of at the admission stage itself. The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the case of the petitioner made for regularizing land admeasuring 367 square yards along with open land situated in D.No.23-12-16 & 23-12-17, Ward No.8, Abburivari Street, Satyanarayana-puram, Vijayawada, in his favour, as per G.O.Ms.No.166, Revenue (ASSN.POT) Department, dated 16.02.2008, as illegal and arbitrary. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he made a representation dated 14.12.

2010 to the 1st respondent seeking regularization of the land admeasuring 367 square yards along with open land in D.No.23-12-16 & 23-12-17, Ward No.8, Satyanarayanapuram, Vijayawada, as per G.O.Ms.No.166, dated 16.02.2008, till date no orders are passed. No counter is filed on behalf of the respondents.

Chairman, Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Tribunal-cum-District Judge, Krishna District at Machilipatnam vide O.P.No.408 of 1994.

Having regard to the rival submissions made and without going into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of, by advising the 1st respondent to pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner on 14.12.2010, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if the same is still pending consideration. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in the writ petition shall stand closed.
