Heard.
The petitioner herein aggrieved by the non-consideration of his revision petition dated 23.05.2014 pending before the first respondent, which is directed against a notice dated 20.02.2014 issued to the petitioner demanding payment of normal seigniorage fee along with five times penalty. It is stated that the petitioner has already paid normal seigniorage fee and only to the extent of penalty, the above revision petition is pending.
Learned standing counsel on instructions reported that the petitioner's revision is pending before the first respondent and the Government had already called for remarks from the Director of Mines and Geology and as soon as the said remarks are received, the revision petition will be taken up and disposed of expeditiously. In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's revision petition after issuing notice and after hearing the petitioner expeditiously, preferably, within two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
