HONOURABLE SRI J USTICE SURESH K UMAR K AIT CRIMINAL PETITION No. 15460 of 2016 ORDER:

Vide present Criminal Petition, the petitioner/Accused No.1 seeks bail in Crime No. 89 of 2016-17 registered on the file of Station House Officer, Prohibition and Excise Station, Paderu, Visakhapatnam for the offences punishable under Section 8 (c) read with Section 20(b)(ii)(c) of the NDPS Act. Heard learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner/Accused No.1 and learned Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent-State. Perused the material on record. Keeping in view the commercial quantity of 50Kgs of Ganja seized from the petitioner and his co-accused, which attracts Section 37 of the NDPS Act, I am not inclined to grant bail. The Criminal Petition merits no consideration and is accordingly dismissed.
