HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No.1455 of 2020 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to direct the learned VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad to expedite the trial work and pass appropriate orders in C.C.No.700359 of 2016 pending on his file.

At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner reiterated the contents of the affidavit filed in support of the Criminal Petition and prayed to give a direction to the Court below to dispose of the said C.C. expeditiously.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposed this application. 4.

In the light of the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and as the aforesaid Calender Case relates to crime of the year 2007, without delving into the merits of the case, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, to commence and conclude the trial in C.C.No.700359 of 2016 as early as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Court below shall not give unnecessary adjournments in the said C.C. 5.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
