THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No. 1272 of 2016 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed against the respondents, alleging wilful violation of order dated 09.06.2016 passed by this Court in W.P.No.18115 of 2016.

At the time of hearing, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (Andhra Pradesh) that it is only on account of lack of understanding of the implications of this Court, there was some delay in implementing the order of this Court. However, once it is made clear on obtaining orders from the 2nd respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer, the 1st respondent had in fact released the stocks to the contempt petitioner. This submission of the learned Government Pleader for the respondents is not being disputed by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

Inasmuch as, the order dated 09.06.2016 in W.P.No.18115 of 2016 passed by this Court stands complied with, the Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed.
