In this petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., the petitioner-accused seeks to quash the proceedings in crime No. 91 of 2013 of Basheerabad Police Station, Ranga Reddy District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 167 read with Section 34 of IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has produced the letter dated 02-07-2018 of Sub Inspector of Police, Basheerabad Police Station, and submitted that the case was compromised before Lok Adalat on 12-12-2015 and therefore, the petition, which is filed to quash the proceedings in crime No. 91 of 2013 of Basheerabad Police Station, has become infructuous and hence, the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
