THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No.7314 of 2014 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/Accused No.3, under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to quash F.I.R.No.521 of 2013 on the file of Malkajgiri Police Station, Cyberabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 324, 354, 364, 406, 420, 498-A, 506 and 511 of I.P.C., Sections 4 and 5 of the Dowry Prohibition (Prevention) Act and Section 156 (3) Cr.P.C.

The learned Public Prosecutor representing the first respondentState submitted that as no interim order was passed by this Court, the investigation agency had completed the investigation and filed the charge-sheet before the Magistrate concerned and after completion of necessary formalities under Section 209 of Cr.P.C., the case was committed to the Sessions Division and in turn, the Principal District and Sessions Judge registered the same as S.C.No.602 of 2014 and the case is now pending before the II Assistant Sessions Judge, L.B.Nagar. Therefore, the question of quashing the FIR does not arise at this stage. 3.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand dismissed.
