Heard.

Though the petitioner seeks direction against the inaction of the 3rd respondent in mutating his name in the revenue records in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.14.13 gts in Survey No.55 situated at Remmenguda Village, Gajwel Mandal, Medak District, it is evident from the record that no application is filed by him. The petitioner stated that his vendor filed civil suit and the same was decreed and possession of the said land was delivered to his vendor and that therefore, he gave a legal notice on 30.10.2015 through his counsel to the 3rd respondent for mutation of his name in the revenue records.

Since the petitioner has not made proper application before the recording authority under A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, the relief sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted. However, the petitioner is at liberty to make proper application by paying requisite fee in accordance with the Act and if such application is filed, the 3rd respondent shall examine the same on merits and pass appropriate orders expeditiously.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
