CVNR, J & GSP, J CC.No.346 of 2018 Dt: 05.07.2018 Order: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Contempt Case is filed complaining of willful disobedience of Order, dated 30-08-2017, in W.P.No.28421 of 2017, by the respondent.

After a detailed hearing of the learned Counsel for both parties, we are convinced that the petitioner, who secured the 4th rank in the merit list under non-local quota, was rightly denied appointment as the persons, who secured the 1st and the 2nd ranks, were given appointment in roster point numbers 63 and 67, which were reserved for OC (G) category. As only two vacancies in the OC (G) category were available, the petitioner, having secured the 4th rank, is not entitled to appointment.

For the aforementioned reasons, we do not find any merit in this Contempt Case and the same is, accordingly, dismissed.
