This Writ Petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in not renewing the stage carriage permit No.35/92, which expired on 08.11.2007, in respect of registered vehicle No.AP-03-T9054 as illegal and arbitrary and a consequential direction is sought to the respondents to renew the stage carriage permit No.35/92 in respect of registered vehicle No.AP-03-T9054 forthwith and to consider the applications dated 05.07.2011 and 19.08.2011 for refund of taxes of Rs.1,66,600/- paid for the period from 01.01.2008 to 30.06.2011.

The contention of the petitioner is that she filed several representations seeking renewal of stage carriage permit, but no orders thereon have been passed so far. As seen from the latest representation dated 01.09.2014 said to have been made by the petitioner to the Deputy Transport Commissioner and Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, there is no acknowledgment to the said representation. In view of the same, the petitioner is permitted to file fresh representation before the second respondent ventilating her grievance and on filing such representation the second respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
