THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.16821 of 2005 ORDER:

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and none appeared for respondent Nos.1 to 5.

This Writ Petition was filed challenging the proceedings of the second respondent, dated 25.07.2005, suspending the orders of the third respondent in Rc.No.B/18/2005, dated 02.04.2005, whereunder police protection was granted in favour of the petitioner in respect of land of an extent of Acs.5.48 in Survey No.108-1 of M.Bandameedapalli Vilage of Anantapur District.

This Court, by order dated 29.07.2005, suspended the proceedings of the second respondent, and the said order has been in operation till today.

The order was passed by the second respondent on the ground that the Joint Collector, Anantapur, in his proceedings D.Dis.E3/121/2005, dated 11.01.2005, remanded the case to the second respondent for hearing and directed the third respondent to maintain status quo on ground.

Now the learned Counsel for the petitioner is unable to state whether the case that was remanded to the second respondent was disposed of or not. However, since the second respondent's order dated 25.07.2005 was suspended by this Court and the said order has been in operation, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to continue the orders passed by the Mandal Revenue Officer, Rapthadu, granting police protection to the petitioner, till the disposal of the case before him, if it was not already disposed of. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. The miscellaneous

petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
