THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION NO.11592 OF 2010 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 3rd respondent in interfering with the petitioner's life and liberty in the guise of investigation in Cr.No.29 of 2010 on the file of Mandapeta Rural Police Station, Mandapeta, East Godavari District at the instance of the 4th respondent.

2. This Court while admitting the writ petition on 10-06-2010 restrained respondents 2 and 3 from interfering with the personal liberty of the petitioner in any manner in the name of the investigation in Cr.No.29 of 2010.

A counter affidavit is filed stating that the present writ petition is filed only to prevent the police from taking any action in the said crime. It was also stated that the 2nd respondent never harassed the petitioner as alleged by him in the affidavit. The investigation was going on at the time of filing the counter affidavit in the month of June, 2010.

In view of interim order granted by this Court on 10-06-2010 and also in view of submission made by the Investigating officer, 2nd respondent, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition. However, if the investigation is completed, the 2nd respondent is at liberty to take further steps in accordance with law.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
