THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 45893 of 2016 ORDER:
This writ petition was filed challenging the action of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in not registering a crime in spite of the complaint, dated 19.12.2016, lodged by the petitioner. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, respondent No.3-Inspector of Police, Sultan Bazar Police Station, Hyderabad filed a counter-affidavit, wherein, it is stated that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, Crime No.12 of 2017 was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 419 IPC read with Section 34 IPC and investigation is under progress. In view of registration of the above crime, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition.
The writ petition is accordingly closed.
