THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.3755 OF 2018 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the official respondents.

When the matter is taken up, written instructions, dated 07.02.2018, furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police & Station House Officer, Garugubilli Police Station, Vizianagaram District are placed on record by the learned Government Pleader for Home. The said instructions read as under:- "It is submitted that the 9th respondent herein has lodged a written complaint dt.21.01.2018, before the Garugubilli P.S., making allegations against the petitioners herein for demanding additional dowry and subjecting her to mental and physical torture. On receipt of the above complaint from the 9th respondent herein, the Garugubilli P.S., have called the petitioners 1 to 3 herein to attend counseling by District Legal Service Authority, Vizianagaram. In this connection, the SHO, Garugubilli P.S., vide letter dt.03.02.

2017, forwarded the complaint of the 9th respondent herein to the District Legal Service Authority, for conduct of counseling in the matter, with a copy of the same to the 9th respondent and the petitioners 1 to 3 herein, requesting them to attend counseling at District Legal Service Authority, Vizianagaram.

In view of the facts stated above, the allegations of the petitioners that they are being constantly harassed by the 5th and 6th respondents by calling them to the police station illegally, detaining them for hours together, are absolutely false and baseless. It is submitted that the Sub-Inspector of Police, is the SHO

Garugubilli P.S., and they are not two different persons, i.e., the respondents 7 & 8 herein, which shows that all the false allegations are made in the writ petition against them. Therefore, the allegations of the petitioner that the respondents 5 & 6 have been harassing the petitioners and threatening them to register false cases are not correct. All other allegations of the petitioners against the respondent police authorities are totally false, baseless and hereby specifically denied. " 3.

On noticing the said instructions, a request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioners to place the said instructions on record and close the writ petition.

Recording the said instructions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of, by placing on record the above said instructions. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
