Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the respondents.

This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the disconnection notices issued on 16.02.2019 for service connection bearing No.MBN673 of Unit 1, for service connections bearing Nos. MBN491 and MBN740. During pendency of this writ petition petitioner made a representation on 07.03.2019 for waiver of penalty/surcharge as the case may be and to grant installments for payment of the amounts originally arrived at. 3.

Since these representations are pending, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Chairman & Managing Director of the 1st respondent company to examine the claim of petitioner and to pass orders as warranted by law, within two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Till then, the respondents are directed not to take coercive action against the petitioner, subject to petitioner making payment of Rs.20.00 Lakhs each within one week from today. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
