THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 26629 OF 2017 O R D E R:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a mandamus to declare the action on the part of the 3rd respondent Inspector of Police, Central Crime Station, Cyberabad at Saroornagar in harassing the petitioner by way of calling her to the police station for investigation into crime alleged to have been committed by her exhusband subsequent to her divorce and threatening to arrest her without there being any case against her, as illegal and arbitrary. The petitioner's ex-husband Ghulam Ilyas Hyder involved in purchase of stolen gold jewellery and in that connection, cases were registered by the police. The petitioner is stated to have separated from the said Ghulam Ilyas Hyder for over a period of eight years. Subsequently, in 2017, the said Hyder died due to heart attack. Thereafter, the 3rd respondent started calling her to the police station to interrogate regarding the crimes registered against the said Hyder.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on oral instructions submits that the allegations made in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition are all false and the 3rd respondent police never called the petitioner to the police station and harassed her. Now, learned counsel for the petitioner requests that recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition may be closed.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed and the submissions made by the learned Government Pleader for Home are taken on record. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
