This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners/ A.1 to A.6 to quash the proceedings in Crime No.231 of 2018 of Women Police Station, Charminar, Hyderabad District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A, 406, 506 of IPC and Sections 4 & 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

In the course of submissions, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the parties to the litigation have compromised the matter. If that is the case, the parties are entitled to compound the alleged offences in accordance with the procedure established by law. 4 .

With the above observation, this Criminal Petition is disposed of.
