Petitioners claim that they are the owners and possessors of the land to an extent of Ac.241.01 guntas in Survey No.424 of Mallapur Village, Yadagirigutta Mandal. They allege that they submitted application dated 16.06.2017 in Form VI-A for mutation of their names in the revenue records. Their grievance is that the said application is not acted upon so far and the revenue records are not corrected by the respondent authorities. Hence, this Writ Petition.

Ex.P1 is the application in Form VI-A and in proof of filing of the said application, petitioner produced the receipt dated 16.06.2017, which is generated by TS Online.

Having regard to the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directing the Tahsildar, Yadagirigutta Mandal, Yadadri Bhuvangiri District, to examine the claim of the petitioners pursuant to the application filed by them in Form VI-A by following due procedure in accordance with the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 and take appropriate action as warranted by law and communicate the decision to the petitioners within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
