The present writ petition is filed to declare the action of 1st the respondent in not registering a case on the basis of the complaint made by the petitioner on 23.12.2019 and not taking up investigation thereinto, as being illegal, arbitrary and unjust.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the respondent police authorities have registered a case on 01.03.2020.

Having regard to the fact that a case has now been registered, the authorities shall investigate into the case in accordance with law. 5.

Subject to the above, the writ petition is closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
