Madeena B.Ed. College, v. Kakatiya University. Warangal
HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN Writ Petition No.17852 of 2009 ORDER:
Sri N.Sreedhar Reddy, Learned Counsel for the petitioner, would submit that, as the petitioner was not permitted to admit students for the academic year 2009-10, they had invoked the jurisdiction of this Court; by way of interim relief, the order of the University, directing the petitioner to obtain approval of the NCTE, was suspended on the ground that the appeal, preferred by the petitioner against the order of the Regional Committee of the NCTE, was pending before the NCTE; subsequently, the appeal preferred by the petitioner was dismissed; aggrieved thereby the petitioner filed W.P.No.29019 of 2009; by its order dated 14.07.2010, this Court directed the NCTE to reconsider its decision, on discontinuing recognition to the petitioner, subject to certain conditions; the NCTE had, thereafter, passed the order dated 19.10.2010 deciding to continue the recognition; and, in the light of these factual aspects, it is evident that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive necessitating any further adjudication by this Court, and the Writ Petition has become infructuous.
The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. The Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
