THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 24408 OF 2017 O R D E R:

Questioning the inaction on the part of the 4th respondent Station House Officer, Mulakalapalli Police Station in providing police protection to the petitioners from the 5th respondent, who has been interfering with their cultivation activities in the land in an extent of Ac.1.31 guntas in Survey No. 273/506 of Pusugudem Village, Mulakalapalli Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District, despite the order dated 02.12.2016 in I.A.No. 64 of 2011 in O.S.No. 94 of 2011 on the file of the Special Assistant Agent and SubDivisional Magistrate (Mobile Court) at Bhadrachalam, this Writ Petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

Learned Government Pleader for Home has placed on record the written instructions obtained from the Station House Officer, Mulakalapalli Police Station, wherein it has been stated as under: " It is submitted that the police contacted the petitioner and informed him to carry on his agricultural activities over the subject land with an assurance that necessary police protection will be given to him for carrying out their agricultural activities. In this regard, written notices were also given to them and copies of the said notices are filed herewith for kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court. In spite of the same, the petitioners filed the present Writ Petition alleging that police are not giving protection to them for doing their agricultural activities. Moreover, the petitioners have also not made any complaints against the unofficial respondent herein since then.

It is submitted that as stated above, the respondent police are ready to give protection to the petitioners for ensuring compliance of the order dated 02.12.2016 passed in I.A.No. 563 of 2016 in I.A.No. 64 of 2011 in O.S.No. 94 of

2011 by the Special Assistant Agent & Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Mobile Court at Bhadrachalam."

In view of the above, as the grievance of the petitioners stands redressed, the Writ Petition is disposed of. The written instructions are placed on record. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
