This writ petition is being disposed of with the consent of both the parties.

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: ".........Writ of Mandamus declaring the impugned Selection Notification giving details of Hall ticket numbers of the provisionally selected candidates for appointment to the post of School Assistant - Social Studies - Telugu Medium under Notification No.52/2017 dated 21.10.2017 excluding the Petitioner Hall Ticket Number who is the most meritorious in BC-E (W) category in Karimnagar, as arbitrary, totally illegal, without jurisdiction, violation of Article 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently set aside the same by further directing the Respondents to select and appoint petitioner to the post of School Assistant (Social Studies) under Notification No.52/2017 dated 21.10.2017 issued by the 2nd respondent as per her merit in BC-E (W) category in Karimnagar District.........."

Heard Sri S.Rahul Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri D.Balakishan Rao, learned Standing counsel for the 2nd respondent.

It has been contended by the petitioner that the respondents have issued recruitment notification No.52/2017 dated 21.10.2017 inviting the applications from the eligible candidates for the post of School Assistant and the petitioner has responded to the said notification and she has secured 65.269 marks and got 1183 rank in the State and 1st rank in Karimnagar District in BC-E (W) category. Petitioner further contends that though there is a post reserved for category BC-E (W), the respondents have not

considered the case of the petitioner and published impugned selection notification dated 12.02.2019 excluding the hall ticket number of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 14.02.2019 requesting the respondents to consider her case for appointment to the post of School Assistant in the unfilled vacancy in the category of BC-E (W) in Karimnagar District. He further contends that so far the respondents neither passed orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner nor considered the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of School Assistant. Therefore, he contends that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders.

Learned Standing counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent contends that the representation submitted by the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law.

This Court, having considered the rival submissions of both the parties, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above observations, Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
