This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners/ A.3 and A.6 to A.9 to quash the proceedings in Crime No.11 of 2019 of Danthalapally Police Station, Mahabubabad District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 506, 294-B, 148, 323 and 307 read with 149 of IPC.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners/ A.3 and A.6 to A.9, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1State and perused the record. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that there are no grounds to proceed with the investigation of this case and ultimately prayed to allow the petition. 4.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the 1st respondent/ State opposed the relief sought by the petitioners. 5.

As seen from the record, there are allegations constituting the unlawful assembly and indulging in commission of offences enumerated above. There are sufficient grounds to proceed with the investigation. Under these circumstances, the petition does not merit consideration.

Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
