The petitioner, who is accused No.27, preferred the present Criminal Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Cr.P.C.), seeking to reduce the surety amount in respect of condition No.1 of the order dated 29.08.2016 passed in Crl.M.P.No.1688 of 2016 in Crime No.62 of 2013 by the Principal Sessions Judge, Guntur.

Vide Order dated 29.08.2016, the petitioner was granted bail by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Guntur, on a condition of his executing a bond for Rs.5,00,000/- with two sureties for a like sum each. Learned Sessions Judge also imposed certain other conditions on the petitioner. However, feeling aggrieved by the said order to the extent of directing the petitioner to furnish two sureties for a sum of Rs.5,00,000/-, the present petition is preferred. 4.
Having regard to the order passed by this Court earlier, the petitioner is directed to furnish two sureties for a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) instead of Rs.5,00,000/- as directed by the Court below. Further, out of two sureties, one surety must be a local surety. It is made clear that the impugned order is modified
only to this extent and the other conditions stipulated in the impugned order remain unaltered.
5.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. _______________________ JUSTI CE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR Date:17.09.2016 Note: Furnish CC within two (02) days.
