HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No. 4842 of 2020 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for the following relief; " to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly a writ in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the Demand of the respondent in respect of an amount of Rs.1,42,650/- for registering the vehicle of the petitioner as perse illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the Circular Memo No.13/4515/R1/2008, dated 30.08.2008 and consequently to set aside the demand dated 9-04-2018 in respect of a sum of Rs.1,42,650/- and direct the 3rd respondent to refund the amount of Rs.1,42,650/- with interest @ 12% per annum from 9-04-2018 till the date of repayment and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court has already dealt with the similar issue and disposed of WP.No.2854 of 2020 on 12-02-2020. The same is not disputed by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Transport.

In view of the same and for the reasons alike, it is open for the petitioner to make necessary application before the 3rd respondent for refund of the amount and on such application the 3rd respondent is directed to

consider the same in terms of the order passed by this Court in WP.No.2854 of 2020 on 12-02-2020 within a period of two weeks from the date of filing application by the petitioner.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
