HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.18234 of 2014 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for respondent Nos.1 to 4. The prayer sought in the writ petition is as follows: "... to issue writ or order or direction more in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents Nos.1 to 4 and 6 in taking action against the 5th respondent pursuant to the registration of the FIR in Crime No.267/2014 dated 21.03.2014 as illegal, null and void for a consequential order directing the respondents to take immediate action against 5th respondent pursuant to registration of the FIR in Crime No.267/2014 dated 21.03.2014."

During the course of hearing, learned Government Pleader brought to the notice of this Court that pursuant to the registration of Crime No.267 of 2014 on 21.03.2014, investigation was taken up and final report was filed before the concerned Court. After taking cognizance of the offence, the same is numbered as C.C.No.722 of 2014, which is pending trial. The next date of hearing of the said calendar case is 27.09.2019.

In view of the above, no further cause would survive in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. _____________________ P. KESHAVA RAO, J Date: 25.09.2019.
