Petitioners claim that they worked in the Andhra Pradesh Housing Board when it was united and by the Geographical location of their earlier employment and their residences, they come within the jurisdiction of Telangana Housing Board. 3.

The grievance of the petitioners is that on consideration of long service rendered by similarly situated persons, who were all working when the Housing Board was common for both States, and after bifurcation and formation of State of Telangana, the Andhra Pradesh Housing Board reinducted all those persons who are similarly situated persons. Whereas the Telangana Housing Board has not extended such benefit. Ventilating their grievance, petitioners submitted detailed representation on 23.03.2017 to the Vice Chairman & Housing Commissioner, Telangana State Housing Board, Hyderabad (1st respondent). Alleging inaction on the said representation, this writ petition is filed.

When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Standing counsel representing the Telangana Housing Board, agreed for disposal of the writ petition with a direction to examine the representation dated 23.03.2017 and to pass orders.

Having regard to the said submissions without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to examine the claim of the petitioners as ventilated in their representation dated 23.03.2017 and pass appropriate orders, as warranted by law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
