When the matter is taken up for hearing, written instructions, dated 15-02-2018 furnished by the Sub-Inspector Police, Meerpet PS, Rachakonda Commissionerate are placed on record by the learned Government Pleader for Home and the said instructions, to the extent of their relevance, read as under: - "The petitioner herein has approached the Police of Meerpet PS, Rachakonda Commissionerate and lodged a complaint on 01-02-2017 stating that on 25-09-2017 she went to her mother's house at Lingampally on the occasion of Dasara. On 01-01-2017 at 00.30 hours her father by name Ramulu goud received a phone call from Hari Krishna's Uncle by name Dharshan, in which he stated that her husband by name Ankamgari Hari Krishna Goud, S/o Sathyanarayana Goud, age: 28 years, Occ: Private Employee, caste BC-goud, R/o H.No.

2-96, Badangpet, Ranga Reddy was committed suicide by hanging to a ceiling fan with muffler at his residence and immediately she rushed to Osmania Hospital along with her father, mother and brother. Hence, she requested to conduct fair investigation and take necessary action as per law.

Basing on the contents of the above complaint, a case in Cr.No.515/2017 U/sec.174 Cr.P.C (suspicious death) dated 01-10-2017 was registered on the file of Meetpet PS and taken up the investigation into the case.

During the course of investigation, the investigation officer examined the complainant and some other witnesses and recorded their detailed statements. None of the witnesses expressed any suspicious behind the death of the deceased and no foul play. The doctors who conducted autopsy over the dead body of the deceased/son of the petitioner herein opined that their post mortem report that the cause of death of the deceased was "Suicidal death due to hanging".

So far the investigation done, there are no ingredients to attract the provisions of Sec.306 IPC. However, the investigation is under progress and it is pending for want of collection of evidence. It is pertinent to submit that fair and impartial investigation is going on in all angles. If any information about the ingredients of

Sec.306 IPC is elicited, certainly, this respondent police will alter the Section of law and proceed with the investigation." Having regard to the above instructions and taking into consideration the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home, this court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by placing on record the above mentioned written instructions with a further direction to the respondent-police authorities to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible.
