Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, submits that the 4th respondent - Tahsildar, vide Endorsement No.B/1767/2017 dated 18.12.2019, informed the petitioner that request of the petitioner for change of name in the revenuer records cannot be considered, and for the said purpose, he has to file an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer concerned. Learned counsel also produced a copy of the proceedings dated 18.12.2019. Heard the counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the proceedings of the 4th respondent dated 18.12.2019, writ petition is disposed of leaving it open to the petitioner to avail the alternative remedy available under law.

Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
