This Writ Petition is filed alleging inaction in registering the crime against respondents 6 to 9 basing on a complaint lodged by the petitioner on 15.02.2019.

As rightly pointed out by learned Government Pleader for Home, the alleged complaint was sent by registered post. The receipts of registered post are filed as Ex.P2 at page No.15 of the Writ Petition material paper book. A reading of the same would show that the complaint was sent on 04.03.2019 at 2:34 P.M. and whether the said complaint is yet to be received is not known. This Writ Petition was instituted on 05.03.2019. In other words, even before expiry of 24 hours of sending the complaint, the Writ Petition was filed. This is nothing but abusing the process of law. The Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
