HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No.1305 OF 2019 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners - accused Nos.2 to 6 under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking to quash the proceedings against them in Calendar Case No.19 of 2019 on the file of the V Additional Metropolitan Magistrate - cum - V Additional Junior Civil Judge, Cyberabad at L.B. Nagar

2. Charge Sheet was filed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Saroornagar W.P.S., Rachakonda against the accused including the present petitioners for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, and the same was numbered as Calendar Case No.19 of 2019.

3. Heard Sri N.B. Sudarshan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri K. Venumadhav, learned counsel for respondent No.2 and also learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

4. Though the present Criminal Petition is filed seeking to quash the aforesaid proceedings against the petitioners, during the course of arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer to dispense with the presence of the petitioners before the trial Court on every date of hearing.

5. The learned counsel for respondent No.2 as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor acceded to the said request subject to certain conditions.

6. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, personal appearance of the petitioners - accused Nos.2 to 6 in Calendar Case No.19 of 2019 on the file of the V Additional Metropolitan Magistrate - cum - V Additional Junior Civil Judge, Cyberabad at L.B. Nagar is hereby dispensed with, except on the dates when their presence is specifically required by the Court.

7. With the above observation, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
