SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITON No.1355 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who is A2, in Crime No.236 of 2017 on the file of Dwaraka Police Station, Visakhapatnam City. The offences alleged are under Sections 419, 420, 468 and 471 IPC. 2.

Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

The allegation against this petitioner as per the case of the prosecution is that he also aided A1 in preparing fake identity cards, in order to draw pension pertaining to the people, who are no more in existence. The public prosecutor further submits that the petitioner is involved in four other crimes. 4.

Hence, considering the nature of the allegations and the submissions of the public prosecutor, this court opines that this is a not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail. 5.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner can file a petition seeking for regular bail by surrendering himself before the court below. The court below shall dispose of the bail application, if any filed, expeditiously, preferably on the same day on merits, subject to the pressure of other work. 6.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed.
