ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in issuing Lr.No.185/C/2019, dated 20.02.2019 in placing the petitioner under suspension as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India, without jurisdiction and contrary to Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (Classification, control and appeal) Rules, 1991 adopted by the State of Telangana and consequently set aside the suspension order dated 20.02.2019 and reinstate the petitioner with all incidental and consequential benefits with continuity of service and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit just and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Heard Sri L.V.S.Nagaraju, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Services-II appearing for the respondents.

It is the case of the petitioner that he is working as Assistant Director with the respondents and the respondents have placed him under suspension vide proceedings dated 20-02-2019 alleging certain irregularities.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that though more than six months have lapsed, the respondents are not revoking the suspension order. It is

prayed that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to revoke the suspension order in terms of G.O.Ms.No.86, dated 8.3.1994.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents contended that the case of the petitioner would be considered in terms of G.O.Ms.No.86, dated 8.3.1994 and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law. Having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is of the view that this Writ Petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to revoke the suspension order dated 20.02.2019 in terms of G.O.Ms.No.86, dated 8.3.1994 and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, pending, if any, shall stand closed.
