O R D E R
The case of the petitioner is that against the resumption order passed by the 4th respondent - Tahsildar in file No.B/4096/2019 dated 23.12.2019, petitioner has preferred appeal before the 3rd respondent - Revenue Divisional Officer, under Section 4-A of the Andhra Pradesh Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers)Act, 1977, as adapted to the State of Telangana, along with stay petition. The grievance of the petitioner is that the 3rd respondent - Revenue Divisional Officer, is neither disposal of the appeal, nor passing any order on the interim stay petition.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of the learned counsel, without expressing any opinion on merits, writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner against the resumption orders passed by the 4th respondent dated 23.12.2019, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, and pending the disposal of the appeal, the order dated 23.12.2019 passed by the 4th respondent, shall remain suspended. Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
