HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.6435 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioners/ A.2 and A.3 seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No.30/2014 of Women PS, Nizamabad District, which was registered for the offence under Section 498 (A) IPC.

2) When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 07.02.2018 of Station House Officer, WPS, Nizamabad and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 16.06.2014 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.30/2014 of WPS, Nizamabad (C.C.No.355 of 2014 on the file of I Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Nizamabad), has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

3) No representation for petitioners.

4) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
