THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.18774 of 2015 ORDER :

The petitioner claims to be the member of founder's family of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Narsipatnam Village and Mandal, Visakhapatnam District. The petitioner claims to have submitted an application on 28.10.2014 to the Commissioner, Endowments Department, State of Andhra Pradesh, requesting to sanction car allowance in accordance with the scheme formulated by the State providing such allowance. The grievance of the petitioner necessiating institution of this writ petition is that even though, the said representation was made on 28.10.2014, so far no orders are passed. The petitioner has placed on record a circular issued on 30.11.2011 providing the said benefit.

2. In view of the fact that the representation stated to have been submitted by the petitioner on 28.10.2014 is pending, this Writ Petition is disposed of without expressing any opinion on merits directing the Commissioner of Endowments, Andhra Pradesh, Boggulakunta, Tilak Road, Abids, Hyderabad (1st respondent), to consider the said representation and take a decision as warranted by law and communicate the same to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
