ORAL ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home.

This writ petition is filed challenging the show cause notice dated 21.2.2019 calling upon the petitioner to explain why the bond amount of Rs.2,00,000/- should not be forfeited for breech of bond entered as surety for good behavior.

According to learned counsel for petitioner, so far, no orders are passed and on the contrary respondents are threatening the petitioner with dire consequences, if amount is not paid. 4.
Since it is only a show cause notice and it is not the case of the petitioner that Tahsildar and Executive Magistrate is not competent to issue such a show cause notice, Court is not inclined to interfere with the same. However, having regard to the apprehension expressed by petitioner, second respondent is directed to consider the explanation offered by petitioner and take appropriate decision in the matter and till such decision is made, not to take any coercive steps against petitioner. 5.
