This petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who is A2, in Crime No.42 of 2018 on the file of Patamata Police Station, Vijayawada City. The offences alleged are under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(c) of NDPS Act. 2.

Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

As per the case of the prosecution, this petitioner was present in the car in which Ganza was being transported and the quantity of Ganza is 270 Kgs. Hence, Section 37 of the Act does not permit this Court to grant bail or anticipatory bail. 4.
