HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 21272 of 2002 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the office order dated 16.10.2002 issued by the respondent reverting the petitioner to the post of Conductor and posting him to Maddilapalem Depot, as illegal and arbitrary. None appeared for the petitioner.

While admitting the writ petition, this Court granted interim stay of the impugned orders, vide orders dated 25.10.2002 in WPMP No.26607 of 2002.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the petitioner has retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation.

In view of the above, no further orders are necessary in the writ petition and accordingly the writ petition is closed. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
