THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.3839 OF 2018 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- "to issue an appropriate Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in not passing any order on the request of the Petitioner Theatre for alteration of the seating capacity in the Petitioner Theatre as per its application dated 01-02-2018 as illegal, null and void and contrary to the Judgment reported in 1999 (5) ALD 693 and consequentially direct the 2nd Respondent to issue orders to the Petitioner for alteration of seats."

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Home (TG) appearing for the respondents. 3.

When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner herein submitted an application on 01.02.2018 to the Joint Collector & Licensing Authority, Medak, Medak District, respondent No.2 herein, and no orders have been passed on the said application. 4.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition, without expressing any opinion on merits in the matter, directing respondent No.2 to verify the application, dated 01.02.2018, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein and pass appropriate orders strictly in

accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
