ORDER

Challenging the notification dated 28.5.2013 issued by the respondent-University, the petitioners have filed the present writ petition on the ground that wide publicity was not given and also requisition was not sent to the Employment Exchange for sponsoring the candidates.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent-University submits that the University is taking steps to cancel the notification and no recruitment process has been taken up in pursuance of the said notification and hence, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is closed. However, the respondent-University is directed to issue a fresh notification for filling up the said posts, as and when it intends, and it shall follow the rules and regulations and give wider publicity.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
