Petitioner is seeking employment as Artist-cumphotographer. Petitioner is aggrieved by non-consideration of his service as Artist-cum-Photographer and aggrieved by his termination of service.

Admittedly, petitioner is seeking employment/continuation in service though on contract basis in the State of Andhra Pradesh. The grievance of the petitioner is against the State of Andhra Pradesh as the employer. Petitioner has to avail the remedy available under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 (for short 'the Act'). The Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal is created under the Act, as the Court of first instance for adjudication of grievance on service disputes. Therefore, writ petition is not maintainable directly in this Court and an aggrieved person has to avail the remedy under the Act, before invoking the jurisdiction of this Court. 3.

Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed, leaving it open to the petitioner to avail the remedy as available under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
