This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner, seeking the following relief: ".......to issue an appropriate writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in not regularizing the petitioner plot No.261 (Part) in Sy.No.66/2 of Rayadurg Navkhalsa Village, Srilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, under Layout Regularizations Scheme as illegal, arbitrary and violation of Articles 14, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently to direct the 2nd respondent to regularize the petitioner plot No.261 (Part) in Sy.No.66/2 of Rayadurg Navkhalsa Village, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, under Layout Regularization Scheme...."

Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration appearing for respondent No.1 and Sri Sampath Prabhakar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation appearing for respondent Nos.2 to 4. Perused the material available on record. The case of the petitioner is that he made application, dated 29.12.2015, in respect of the subject plot for regularization

Dr.SSRB, J W.P.No.3873 of 2018 Date: 07-02-2018 in terms of G.O.Ms.No.151, dated 02.11.2015, but respondent Nos.2 to 4 have not been taking any action thereon. Sri Sampath Prabhakar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.2 to 4, states that the petitioner's application would be considered appropriately within a reasonable time and that the decision taken would be communicated to him. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent No.4 to consider the petitioner's application referred to above within a period of eight

(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to him within a week thereafter. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
