Sri Thouttam Sarangapani v. State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission Of
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY AND HON'BLE MS JUSTICE J.UMA DEVI WRIT PETITION No.3108 of 2017 Date:07.6.2017 Between:
Thourram Sarangapani, Proprietor of M/s Vijaay Sai Traders, Hanamkonda.
..... Petitioner And:
State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission of Telangana at Hyderabad, reptd by its President and another.
.....Respondents Counsel for the petitioner: Mr.Ajay Kumar Counsel for respondent No.1: AGP for Civil Supplies (TS) Counsel for respondent No.2: Mr. Katta Laxmi Prasad The Court made the following:
CVNR, J & JUD, J WP.No.3108 of 2017 Dated:07.6.2017 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed feeling aggrieved by order dated 30.11.2016 in FAIA.No.374 of 2015 in FA(SR).No.1397 of 2015 on the file of the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission of Telangana at Hyderabad (for short 'the State Commission'). By the afore-mentioned order, the State Commission has rejected the application filed by the petitioner for condonation of delay of 1,359 days in filing the appeal against order, dated 18.11.2011, in CC.No.2 of 2011 on the file of the District Forum, Warangal.
A perusal of the impugned order shows that the State Commission has assigned detailed reasons for refusing to condone the huge and inordinate delay in filing the appeal. The petitioner has failed to point out any error either legal or jurisdictional warranting interference of this Court with the order of the State Commission. Therefore, we do not find any merit in this Writ Petition and the same is, accordingly, dismissed.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.3673 of 2017 filed by the petitioner for interim relief is dismissed as infructuous.
