O R D E R
The grievance of the petitioners is that the respondent - police authorities are not taking any action in Cr.No.63/2019, which was registered based on the complaint of the petitioner No.1 against the unofficial respondents 6 and 7 for the offences punishable under Sections 506, 509 IPC and Section 3(1)(ii)(x) of Scheduled castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, on the file of Jagadgirigutta Police Station, Balanagar, Ranga Reddy District. Hence, the present writ petition.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Balanagar Zone, Cyberabad Commissionerate dated 09.03.2019, wherein it is stated as under: "It is to submit that basing on the complaint of the petitioner, case was registered against the accused A1 & A2 and Notice U/s 41(A)(1) Cr.P.C. were served to them, obtained caste certificates of the petitioner and accused A1 & A2 and examined the witnesses i.e., LWs.1 to 5. On 08.03.2019 the draft charge sheet has been sent to the Public Prosecutor of VII Additional District and Sessions Judge cum Spl. SC/ST Court at L.B. Nagar, Rangareddy District for approval, after receipt of the approval from the P.P. the charge sheet will be filed before the Hon'ble VII Addl. District Judge cum Spl. SC/ST Court at L.B. Nagar, Ranga Reddy District within a week."
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.
From the above written instructions it is clear that action has been initiated and investigation is completed, and matter is at the stage of filing charge sheet. Hence, recording the statement made in the written instructions, writ petition is disposed of.
Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
