Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for TSSPDCL appearing for the respondents. 2.
Petitioner is provided power supply through Service Connection No.101442128 to the Cellular Tower erected on the terrace of house bearing No.9-4-57/D/29/B, Hakimpet Kunta, Hyderabad. This Writ Petition is filed alleging that illegally and without prior notice and opportunity, power supply is stopped to the petitioner causing undue hardship and suffering. 3.
When the matter is taken up, learned Standing Counsel fairly submits that no prior notice was issued to the petitioner before disconnecting the power supply.

Whatever may be the cause of disconnection, without notice and due opportunity, power supply cannot be stopped. Hence, the decision to stop power supply to the petitioner's service connection is illegal. Therefore, the respondent - Company is directed to restore the power supply to the petitioner's service connection, referred to above. However, it is open to the respondent - Company to cause notice assigning reasons as to why power supply should not be disconnected and take further courses of action after consideration of the explanation that may be offered by the petitioner.
