THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.26723 of 2006 ORDER :

This writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in not releasing the monthly pension and other retirement benefits of the petitioner after deducting the amounts covered under the attachment orders given by the competent civil Courts, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to release the amounts due to the petitioner forthwith. 2.

When the matter is taken up, Ms.A.Satya Sree, representing Sri G.V.S.Mehar Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner on record represented that the cause in the writ petition does not survive.

Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
